We’d watch the world go by, laughing ’til our sides ached and dreaming of adventures beyond the “Circle City.”

But while the “Good Ole Boy” life fit like a worn-out pair of jeans, I knew I wasn’t cut from the same denim. I craved the hum of a city that didn’t blink at different, the kind of place where cultures collided, and my “unusual” felt right at home.
